Major communications supplier company needs Implementation Systems Engineer to design/implement complex radio systems that satisfy specific requirements. Must know LMR systems and will involve Company and vendor equipment, and typically include IP networks, microwave links, wireless data, RF antenna subsystems, 911 dispatch and/or other custom design peripheral subsystems. Systems Engineering support provided after contract award, including: final design and equipment selection, implementation and as-built documentation, factory and on-site installation support and system optimization. Will discuss and participate iwith customers, consultants, vendors and other personnel as necessary to advance projects. Occasionally develop new radio system business proposals. Qualifications:
BSEE, BSCE or similar 4-year technical degree
5-10 years experience with 6 years technical experience in Land Mobile Radio, telecommunications or related field.
Must be able to work with other disciplines to develop and implement LMR system designs in response to customer specific requirements.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience in design, two-way radio systems, microwave systems, or wireless data systems
Excellent technical and interpersonal skills.
Accommodate 40-50% anticipated travel.
US Citizen required. No sponsorship available.
